Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization's ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions. You will coordinate with Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and business teams to mature resilience, validate recovery capabilities, and drive measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for this IT/program management role.
• Minimum 3 years in IT program/project management plus 5+ years in resilience domains.
• Experience with ransomware-resilient recovery and immutable storage.
• Experience planning or supporting DR tests, tabletop exercises, or BC/IR activities.
• Ability to connect technical recovery to business outcomes in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve the Enterprise Resilience Program governance and procedures.
• Identify Critical Business Services and map people, processes, tech, data, facilities, and third parties.
• Define impact tolerances, RTOs, RPOs, and recovery priorities with business owners.
• Plan resilience assessments, DR tests, cyber exercises, and simulations.
• Track findings, risks, owners, due dates, and corrective actions to closure.
• Improve backup/recovery including Rubrik, Azure backups, SQL backups, and Veeam.
• Develop dashboards and exec-ready reporting on readiness and maturity.
