Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Product Strategy Portfolio Lead to define and drive the Advisory Business's product strategy across the US. You will lead Product Managers, shape the portfolio direction, and partner with executive leadership to translate firm strategy into an outcome-driven roadmap.

You will establish standards, governance, and decision rights to ensure value realization across regions, while overseeing discovery, delivery, and measurement practices in a global delivery model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise product strategy and managing large product portfolios.
• Proven experience building and leading senior Product Management organizations.
• Strong ability to make portfolio-level tradeoff decisions and influence executive stakeholders.
• Experience defining operating models, governance, and decision frameworks for product organizations.
• Excellent strategic thinking, judgment, and executive communication skills.
• Experience operating in complex, matrixed, or professional services environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise product strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap across the full product portfolio.
• Lead, develop, and manage Product Managers, including hiring, structure, performance management, and career development.
• Establish and govern the product management operating model, including roles, decision rights, standards, and ways of working.
• Own portfolio-level prioritization and investment decisions, balancing business value, risk, and capacity.
• Partner with executive leadership to align firm strategy, business priorities, and product outcomes.
• Ensure consistent product discovery, delivery, and measurement practices across pods and regions.
• Oversee product portfolio performance, including progress against outcomes, value realization, and risk.
• Drive alignment and dependency management across products, platforms, and shared capabilities.
• Represent Product Strategy in executive forums, providing clear recommendations and tradeoff decisions.
• Operate effectively within a global delivery model, scaling product strategy across regions and teams.
• Additional Responsibilities for Specialized Product Roles (AI & Data Specialization) as applicable.
