Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Product Engineering Director to lead the Delivery vertical, owning the product roadmap and the end-to-end build, test, and release lifecycle.

You will manage budgets, collaborate with product management, and ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining quality and security standards. The role supports a hybrid work model with in-person collaboration at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Twelve or more years building software products and leading managers.
• Experience owning delivery commitments end to end.
• Hands-on engineering background with architecture review ability.
• Experience leading distributed teams and hiring leaders.
• Experience with AI development tooling and production integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery vertical and own the product roadmap and lifecycle.
• Manage the engineering budget, staffing and tooling decisions.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of features with quality and security.
• Partner with product management to shape feasibility, cost and timing of initiatives.
• Oversee build, test automation, and release processes across multiple squads.
