Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office to lead a senior team and drive delivery excellence across the Business Transformation portfolio. You will own methodology, stage-gate governance, and reporting, guiding decisions on rescope, resequence, or stop-work actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information systems, or related discipline; 10+ years' experience.
• PMP, PfMP, or equivalent portfolio or program management certification.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent initiatives and teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and build project management as a core capability within Business Transformation.
• Own delivery health across the portfolio and report performance to executive leadership.
• Advise leadership on rescoping, re-sequencing, or stopping work as needed.
• Own resource scheduling and capacity management across concurrent initiatives.
• Identify systemic causes of delivery failure and drive changes to governance.
