Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a PC Support Technician to provide telephone, remote, and in-person support for enterprise computers, printers, and peripherals. You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, document actions, and escalate when required.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, communication, and the ability to manage a high workload in a fast-paced environment. May require occasional overtime and physical lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field with 2+ years enterprise PC support experience.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise computers, OS, software, and peripherals.
• Experience with Windows 10+ and Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with imaging, deployment, software distribution, and equipment refreshes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, repair, replace, and maintain computers, laptops, peripherals, and related equipment.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades and workstation deployments.
• Support OS, business applications, printing, connectivity, and peripherals.
• Diagnose routine to moderately complex hardware/software problems.
• Prioritize requests and maintain accurate service records and inventory.
• Communicate clearly with users of varying technical knowledge.
• Coordinate with other support teams and vendor services as needed.
• Follow security, privacy, and information-protection requirements.
