Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Helpdesk / Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team in Omaha, Nebraska. You will provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware, software, networks and applications, and help maintain smooth operation of computer systems.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in helpdesk, proficiency with Windows and macOS, and strong customer service. Preferred: experience with Active Directory and Office 365.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in helpdesk or desktop support.
• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and basic networking.
• Preferred: Active Directory and Office 365 experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve end-user issues with hardware, software, and network access via phone, email, and in-person support.
• Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware.
• Document issues and resolutions in the helpdesk system and elevate as needed.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and support onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Maintain equipment inventory and assist with basic IT training for users.
