Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a driven Sales Manager to grow our flexible packaging business in the northeast TN area. You will build and maintain enterprise client relationships, blending technical learning with consultative sales to deliver packaging solutions that improve brand presence on shelves.

You’ll work with R&D, prepress, and production to ensure flawless execution, while managing accounts end-to-end, preparing quotes, and forecasting sales.

Qualifications

• Sales mindset and relationship-driven approach.
• 8+ years in sales or technical service (B2B preferred).
• Curiosity to learn technical aspects of printing and packaging.
• Results oriented with long sales cycles and closing.
• Team collaboration across functions to exceed expectations.
• Education in Business/Packaging/Graphic fields preferred.
• Tech-savvy with CRM and Office tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (incl. international).

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new enterprise clients across food, beverage, confectionery, pet food, and consumer goods industries.
• Open doors, build trust, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
• Learn and apply technical knowledge of rotogravure printing, substrates, and ink systems.
• Help clients select materials (PET, BOPP, PE, specialty papers) for packaging needs.
• Communicate advantages of rotogravure printing and position solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D, prepress, and production to ensure flawless execution.
• Manage accounts end-to-end from first conversation to final delivery; prepare quotes and RFP responses.
• Forecast and track sales performance and deliver high-touch customer experience.
• Stay ahead of market trends like sustainability, barrier films, and pricing strategies.
