Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a driven Sales Manager to grow the flexible packaging business in northeast Tennessee. You will blend technical learning with consultative sales, guiding clients to smarter packaging solutions and shaping how brands appear on shelves.

You will manage accounts end-to-end, prepare quotes and proposals, forecast sales, and collaborate with R&D and production to ensure flawless execution. The role requires strong relationship skills and a track record in B2B sales.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales or technical service (B2B preferred).
• Relationship-driven, consultative sales approach.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (including international travel).
• Degree in Business, Packaging Science, Graphic Communications, or related field preferred.
• Tech-savvy with CRM and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new enterprise clients across food, beverage, confectionery, pet food, and consumer goods industries.
• Open doors, build trust, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
• Learn and apply technical knowledge of rotogravure printing, substrates, and ink systems.
• Help clients select materials for packaging needs.
• Forecast and track sales performance.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Coordinate with R&D, prepress, and production to ensure flawless execution.
• Own the customer experience end-to-end.
