Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists — engagement leaders who serve as the operational backbone, program lead, and business strategist for high-stakes customer migrations and platform modernizations. You will own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, guiding cross-functional teams and using AI tools to accelerate discovery and execution for enterprise transitions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise customer delivery or TPM for enterprise SaaS transitions.
• Proven track record owning enterprise engagement scopes with cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strong background in program governance, scope management, and executive stakeholder management.
• Experience with Systems Integrators (SIs) and external customer teams.
• Broad understanding of enterprise cloud platforms across Marketing, Revenue/CPQ, Analytics, or Data Cloud.
• Practical experience using AI productivity tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate program analysis and documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own engagement success end-to-end as the single point of accountability across the full lifecycle: Discovery → Migration Strategy → Execution Oversight → Value Realization & Handoff
• Establish engagement governance, track critical-path milestones, manage scope, and proactively resolve delivery risks
• Direct the day-to-day rhythm of cross-functional teams, including Migration Leads, Professional Services consultants, and SI Partners
• Serve as the primary trusted contact for VP- and C-suite customer stakeholders, translating complex migration workstreams into clear business outcomes
• Lead steering committee reviews and help customers navigate organizational change
• Lead discovery workshops and Jobs-to-be-Done reviews, auditing legacy processes and mapping requirements to target platform patterns
• Use AI tools to synthesize legacy documentation, extract business logic, auto-generate project assets, and accelerate delivery workflows
• Assess customer readiness, define change enablement paths, and lead post-migration handoffs for lasting adoption
