Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists — engagement leaders who serve as the operational backbone, program lead, and business strategist for migrations and platform modernizations.

Operating in an AI-native delivery framework, you own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for fast-paced engagements (typically 12 weeks or less) that transition enterprise customers to modern platforms like MC Next, Revenue Cloud, Tableau, and Data Cloud.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise customer delivery, TPM, engagement management, or management consulting for enterprise SaaS transitions.
• Experience owning enterprise engagement scopes and leading cross-functional delivery teams with milestone discipline.
• Strong governance, scope management, business process analysis, and executive stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own engagement success end-to-end as the single point of accountability across the full lifecycle: Discovery → Migration Strategy → Execution Oversight → Value Realization & Hand-off.
• Establish engagement governance, track critical-path milestones, manage scope, and proactively resolve delivery risks.
• Direct the day-to-day rhythm of cross-functional teams, including internal Migration Leads, Professional Services consultants, and SI Partners—keeping them unblocked and aligned on scope and delivery dates.
• Serve as the primary trusted contact for VP- and C-suite customer stakeholders, translating complex migration workstreams into clear business outcomes.
• Lead steering committee reviews and help customers navigate organizational change.
• Personally lead discovery workshops and Jobs-to-be-Done reviews, auditing legacy business processes and mapping requirements to standardized target platform patterns.
• Use AI tools to synthesize legacy documentation, extract business logic, auto-generate project assets, and accelerate delivery workflows.
