Job summary
Fortinet is seeking a high-performing Major Account Manager to drive direct sales to Fortune 1000 accounts and strategic partners in the San Jose area. You will develop executive relationships, craft strategic account plans, and coordinate bids, proposals, and statements of work to close large, enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions.
You will generate opportunities, achieve quarterly goals, and maintain a robust forecast while traveling as needed.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years selling to Fortune 1000 Major Accounts.
- 3+ years selling enterprise network security products/services.
- Proven ability to sell solutions to Fortune 1000 Accounts.
- Track record of quota achievement and career stability.
- Experience in closing large deals.
- Excellent presentation skills to executives & staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, independent thinker who moves deals through the selling cycle.
- Willingness to travel outside the office to make sales.

- Generate enterprise business opportunities and manage the sales process through closure.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals.
- Build a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and forecast pipeline accurately.
