Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Major Account Executive for the FINS Enterprise team to guide large, regulated organizations through adoption and expansion of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform. You’ll engage with C-level stakeholders, align with cross-functional teams, and drive multi-year partnerships for transformational CI/CD and secure software delivery improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience driving complex B2B software sales cycles with large enterprises, ideally in DevSecOps, software development tools, or adjacent SaaS solutions.
• Proven success selling into large, strategic organizations with trusted relationships across business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support large prospects as a trusted advisor through their DevSecOps journey.
• Drive full sales cycle in large enterprises from prospecting to closing.
• Provide account leadership in pre- and post-sales to ensure value from the platform.
• Coordinate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Support, and partners to drive adoption and retention.
• Develop structured account plans with opportunity mapping and multi-threaded engagement.
• Ensure rollout and ongoing adoption through account management and reviews.
• Prepare activity/forecast reports and analyze wins/losses for lessons learned.
• Voice the customer; create proposals and presentations linking GitLab solutions to objectives.
