Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a GSOC Team Lead to guide an enterprise-wide security function and oversee a team of embedded operators. You will partner with senior leadership to mature the GSOC, develop processes, and drive improvements across the organization.

We require 7+ years in GSOC/security ops, 3+ years of people leadership, and strong incident management skills. This role supports hybrid work in the U.S. with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of GSOC/security operations experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership or supervision.
• Experience standing up, transforming, or expanding a GSOC or enterprise security program.
• Experience managing 24/7 security operations.
• Strong ability to brief executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day GSOC operations and oversee security personnel.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to transform GSOC into enterprise-wide function.
• Develop roadmaps to enhance GSOC capabilities and maturity.
• Establish metrics, reporting, and quality assurance across shifts.
• Create policies, playbooks, and escalation frameworks.
• Design training and exercise programs for operator readiness.
• Coordinate crisis response, after-action reviews, and improvements.
