Job summary
Decagon is seeking a Field Engineer to own the technical scoping and implementation of the most complex requirements from enterprise prospects and customers. You will be the technical expert and trusted advisor, proving feasibility during evaluation and possibly carrying work through to production.
This role is dynamic and cross-functional, building complex integrations, configuring AI agents, and partnering with Solutions Engineers, Product, and Engineering to deliver features that customers
Qualifications
- 4+ years leading complex, technical projects across high-growth tech environments.
- Proficient in Python or SQL and production-grade code.
- Skilled at reading unfamiliar API docs and implementing quickly.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical win on enterprise opportunities, partnering with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to build software and agents.
- Design and deliver custom integrations against enterprise telephony and CCaaS platforms, from prototype to production.
- Configure and optimize enterprise-grade AI agents using SOPs and production data metrics.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in live customer instances across telephony, voice flows, tool calls, and third-party integrations.
- Lead exploratory discussions with customers to show how AI can add business value to their tech stack.
- Educate customers on how to extract more value from the Decagon platform through technical enablement.
