Job summary

Decagon is seeking an Agent Deployment Engineer to lead end‑to‑end execution of AI agent builds for strategic customers. You will own the implementation work to launch and scale enterprise‑quality agents, partnering with customers and internal teams to define success and deliver impactful results.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to drive platform improvements, translate needs into build plans, and maintain rigorous delivery timelines in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building with or around LLMs / AI agents (prompting, evaluation, guardrails, tooling, workflow design).
• Experience with enterprise SaaS integrations and security/compliance considerations.
• Strong technical foundation: comfortable writing code, APIs, and end‑to‑end integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end architecture and execution of AI agent builds for enterprise customers.
• Design and engineer core agentic logic for reliable, scalable agent behavior.
• Engineer and validate guardrails to ensure safe agent performance in real‑world scenarios.
• Architect, build, and test integrations with customer systems and data pipelines.
• Interface with senior technical stakeholders to define success criteria and requirements.
