Job summary

Decagon is hiring an Agent Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end AI agent builds for strategic customers. You will own the implementation, validate integrations, and ensure scalable, enterprise-grade deployments.

You’ll work with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into build plans and deliver agents that drive measurable business impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define success criteria, deliver high-quality deployments, and

Qualifications

5+ years in a technical customer-facing role with delivery focus.
Strong foundation writing code, working with APIs, and validating integrations.
Experience delivering production-grade customer solutions with structured execution.
Ability to communicate with senior technical stakeholders and drive delivery.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture and execution of AI agent builds for enterprise customers, from scoping to production deployment.
Design core agentic logic to optimize quality, reliability, and correctness.
Engineer guardrails and supervisory controls for safe agent performance.
Architect and test integrations with customer systems (data pipelines, CRMs, ticketing).
Interface with senior stakeholders to define success criteria and timelines.
Diagnose and resolve failures via root-cause analysis of traces and logs.
Design evaluation and regression-testing frameworks for agent behavior.
Translate customer needs into internal documentation and feedback loops.
Collaborate with APMs, Engineering, Design, and GTM for repeatable builds.
