Job summary

Decagon is hiring an Agent Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end AI agent builds for strategic customers. You will own implementation work to launch and scale enterprise-grade agents, partnering with customers and internal teams to define success and deliver measurable impact.

You’ll collaborate with PMs, Success, Engineering, and GTM to create tight feedback loops, surface gaps, and influence Decagon’s agent-building platform based on real customer needs. Fast-paced, hands-on delivery awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role or equivalent.
• Strong ability to write code, work with APIs, and build end-to-end integrations.
• Clear communication with senior technical stakeholders and execution focus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and deployment of AI agent builds for enterprise customers.
• Design core agent logic to optimize quality, reliability, and non-deterministic outputs.
• Develop guardrails and supervisory controls for safe, compliant agent performance.
• Architect, build, and test integrations with customer systems and data pipelines.
• Interface with senior stakeholders to define success criteria and drive delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve failures via root-cause analysis of traces and logs.
• Create evaluation and regression-testing frameworks for agent behavior.
• Translate needs into internal docs and drive platform improvements.
