Job summary

Cisco is seeking an Account Manager for the U.S. Public Sector to drive enterprise software and cloud deals with Federal government accounts. You will lead engagements from prospecting through contract award, aligning solutions with agency security, zero-trust, data analytics, and cloud needs.

Partner with cross-functional teams to co-sell with FSIs and prime contractors, deliver executive briefings, and manage multi-year ELAs while maintaining a robust pipeline across territories.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of direct quota-carrying software, SaaS, or cloud sales to US Federal Government or Public Sector.
• 2+ years partnering with FSIs or defense prime contractors on federal captures.
• Proven ability to generate new software opportunities and expand existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise software and cloud sales across Federal Government accounts from prospecting to contract award and renewal.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Professional Services, and CS to align offerings with agency security and cloud needs.
• Develop territory growth plans and balance short-term deals with multi-year ELAs.
• Co-sell with FSIs, VARs, and prime contractors to embed Cisco and Splunk into federal programs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, business justifications, and executive briefings to agency leaders.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, territory plans, and qualification metrics in CRM.
