Job summary

Semrush Consulting Services is seeking a Digital Strategy Consultant to act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers, designing and executing transformational SEO and GEO strategies. You will lead structured discovery, develop multi-quarter roadmaps, and help clients embed SEO/GEO into their broader digital marketing ecosystems.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure strategic alignment, drive adoption, and grow long-term value across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in digital strategy, SEO and GEO consulting, change management, enterprise advisory, or related roles within SaaS or MarTech environments.
• Proven experience leading structured discovery engagements and translating insights into actionable, executive roadmaps.
• Ability to design scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and cross-functional workflows.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic alignment at Director/VP level.
• Experience with enterprise-level SEO, GEO and digital marketing platforms such as Semrush, BrightEdge, Conductor, Botify, SimilarWeb, or others.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory, Discovery & Roadmapping: Lead discovery engagements to assess SEO and GEO maturity, operating models, workflows, and readiness; translate findings into phased roadmaps with priorities and milestones.
• Governance, Adoption & Operating Model Transformation: Design scalable SEO and GEO governance frameworks and operating models; establish standards for workflows, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Executive Facilitation & Program Leadership: Lead workshops and executive briefings to align stakeholders; track milestones and KPI performance, identifying risks and blockers.
• Lifecycle Strategy & Growth Alignment: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure strategic continuity and expanded engagement opportunities.
• Internal Strategy & Methodology Contribution: Contribute to playbooks and delivery methodologies; share patterns and best practices.
