Job summary

NetApp is seeking an Enterprise Majors Solutions Engineer to partner with an Enterprise Client Executive, shaping strategic plans and deeper platform adoption. You will translate customer objectives into technical and business outcomes, drive MEDDICC-aligned opportunities, and lead compelling technical demonstrations and workshops.

You will collaborate with enterprise architects, IT executives, and channel partners, guiding data infrastructure modernization across hybrid cloud and AI workloads

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Partner 1:1 with Enterprise Client Executive to develop and execute strategic account plans focused on deeper penetration, broader platform adoption, and net-new workload acquisition.
• Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover technical challenges, business initiatives, and priorities across technical and executive stakeholders.
• Translate customer objectives into solution strategies leveraging NetApp portfolio.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor while helping identify, shape, and advance new sales opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Support account planning, opportunity qualification, and pipeline progression using MEDDICC.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proofs-of-concept aligned to business outcomes.
• Build relationships with enterprise architects, IT executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with NetApp specialists, product teams, services, and channel partners to deliver right expertise.
• Recognize when to leverage internal specialists for deep design while owning the overall engagement.
• Stay current on industry trends, hybrid cloud, AI, data infrastructure and workloads.
