NetApp is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for Enterprise Majors in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will partner with an Enterprise Client Executive to create strategic account plans, uncover opportunities, and align NetApp’s data infrastructure solutions with client business goals.

You will lead consultative discovery, translate business objectives into technical solutions, and advance opportunities through structured methodologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in solutions engineering or related roles.
• Experience supporting large enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers.
• Proven track record partnering with enterprise sales teams to drive opportunities.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure (storage, data management, hybrid cloud, virtualization, or related technologies).
• Strong ability to translate technical capabilities into measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner 1:1 with an Enterprise Client Executive to develop strategic account plans.
• Lead discovery conversations across technical and executive stakeholders.
• Translate customer objectives into NetApp solution strategies.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to identify and shape new sales opportunities.
• Support account planning, qualification, and pipeline progression using MEDDICC.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and proofs of concept.
• Build relationships with enterprise architects, IT leaders, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with NetApp specialists and partners to deliver needed expertise.
