Job summary

NetApp in the Phoenix area seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with an Enterprise Client Executive, shaping strategic opportunities and driving outcomes for large enterprise accounts.

You will translate complex technical challenges into compelling business value, lead demonstrations and workshops, and collaborate with product, services, and channel partners to deliver the right expertise at the right time.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering or related customer-facing technical sales roles.
• Experience supporting large enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers through complex technology sales cycles.
• Proven ability to partner with enterprise sales teams to drive opportunities from discovery to close.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure including storage, data management, hybrid cloud, virtualization, or data protection.
• Strong understanding of modern enterprise data infrastructure and how tech enables business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills translating tech into business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner 1:1 with an Enterprise Client Executive to develop and execute strategic account plans.
• Lead consultative discovery conversations across technical and executive stakeholders.
• Translate customer objectives into solution strategies leveraging NetApp portfolio.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to identify and advance new sales opportunities.
• Support qualification and pipeline progression using MEDDICC methodologies.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts aligned to business outcomes.
• Build relationships with enterprise architects, IT leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
