Job summary

Fortra is actively seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to sell Data Security and Brand Protection to mid-market and enterprise clients. The role emphasizes new business, expansion of existing accounts, and building a robust pipeline.

You will lead complex deals, engage executives, and apply MEDDPICC to ensure predictable outcomes. The position offers a base salary of 130,000–160,000 USD plus commission, with a comprehensive benefits package and full-time, exempt status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years quota carrying B2B software sales in mid-market/enterprise.
• Field sales experience; not inside sales.
• Minimum 3 years selling security against named competitors.
• Minimum 3 years selling in SLED and healthcare verticals.
• Data security, DLP, DSPM, data classification, insider risk, SSE/CASB experience preferred.
• Email security or brand protection also considered.
• Achieved quota in at least two of the last three years with multiple $100K+ deals.
• Located within the territory today.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory strategy focused on new business and expanding existing relationships.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through prospecting, partner engagement, marketing-generated opportunities, and account planning.
• Engage decision-makers and lead complex sales pursuits.
• Apply MEDDPICC principles to manage opportunities and forecast.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineering, Channel, Product, and executives to maximize results.
• Drive revenue growth through new and existing accounts.
• Provide trusted guidance to customers during purchasing decisions.
