Job summary

Supermicro Computer is seeking an Account Manager with experience selling technical solutions and developing business. You will manage accounts across data center and enterprise clients, qualify leads, and develop strategic sales plans to meet quotas.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, at least 1 year of hardware sales experience, and strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, engineering or similar field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with selling computer hardware solutions to data center or enterprise accounts.
• Proven track record with credible cold calling and follow-up with key decision makers.
• Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong persuasive and negotiating skills; ability to articulate clearly in verbal, written, and presentation form.
• Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent time and territory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage products through their entire lifecycle until product EOL.
• Develop strategic sales goals with exceptional execution to meet the sales target.
• Qualify leads and create target lists of enterprise or data center accounts.
• Seek potential customers through cold calling and follow-up visits.
• Participate in marketing activities such as trade shows to generate leads.
• Position Supermicro’s products and services effectively in the market.
• Develop customer relationships and expand existing client accounts for retention and growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and negotiate contracts.
• Negotiate sales pricing, monitor orders, and handle credit issues and returns.
