Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sales Account Representative with experience selling technical solutions and developing business. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in winning enterprise level relationships and consistently achieving and exceeding sales quotas.

You will manage account maintenance, provide product information, coordinate with internal teams, monitor orders, and build strong customer relationships while contributing to overall growth in the San Jose area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor degree strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in tech industry desired.
• Experience in data entry with strong attention to details; familiar with scheduling production and tracking orders.
• Possess strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively through phone, E-mail, verbal and presentation across disciplines, cultures and geographies.
• Experience in customer service and dealing with clients directly; must have problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational skill, track record of meeting or exceeding assigned jobs.
• Must have expert knowledge on Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sales accounts and provide technical and administrative product information.
• Monitor inventory, follow up ETA with purchasers, and report discrepancies.
• Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
• Provide assistance for intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments.
• Enter, monitor, and communicate with clients regarding status of their orders, including credit issues and returns.
• Develop strong customer service relationships with prospects, and prepare daily reports for clients.
• Provide backup support for the manager and team members.
• Other duties may also be assigned.
