Job summary

Board of Innovation (BOI) is seeking a senior technical leader to own the technical build for client engagements across enterprise AI initiatives. You will shape architecture, set engineering standards, and defend build decisions with CTOs and executives.

You will lead a growing engineering team, foster best practices across clouds, data governance, security and observability, and work directly with clients to ensure value, reliability and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Shipped AI systems to production at enterprise scale within security, compliance and data constraints.
• Led engineering in a consultancy/agency or project-based environment with evolving tech stacks.
• Built and scaled teams and systems, including startup exposure and decisive leadership.
• Able to explain complex technical choices to non-technical executives clearly and persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and engineering quality of client builds.
• Shape solution architecture across models, clouds and platforms for client environments.
• Set engineering standards: AI outputs, security, data governance, observability and reliability.
• Build reusable components and internal products to accelerate future engagements.
• Lead with clients: communicate cost, risk and value to CTOs and executives.
• Lead, coach and grow the engineering team and drive responsible ownership.
