Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to own end-to-end strategy, operating model, and execution for new enterprise business across the US, Canada, and strategic accounts. You will lead a high-performing BDR team, scale talent development, and partner with Sales and Marketing on ABM programs to accelerate pipeline and revenue.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, CRM analytics, and cross-functional leadership to drive growth in a dynamic, AI-powered enterprise

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SaaS or cloud Business Development, Sales Development, Inside Sales, or related revenue functions.
• 4+ years of progressive people leadership including BDR/SDR teams in enterprise sales environments.
• Proven track record building and executing pipeline generation strategies for enterprise revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of enterprise sales motions, complex buying cycles, and account-based approaches.
• Experience with CRM, sales engagement, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Business Development strategy across territories and align with regional revenue goals.
• Drive pipeline creation and improve funnel performance via enhanced engagement and conversion.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on ABM programs and target account strategies.
• Analyze pipeline data and campaign performance to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing regional BDR organization with clear performance expectations.
