Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced technical manager to coach, grow, and partner withSolutions Architects. You will mentor architects on best practices, solution selling, and architectures of varying size, while driving revenue growth with sales.

Travel up to 30% and lead a team across multiple US locations including Austin. You will hire, onboard, and develop new architects, educate customers on AWS value, and share best practices through whitepapers and guidance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT application work including 2+ years of hands-on software development or DevOps engineering.
• 2+ years architecting/operating solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc).
• 8+ years of technology solutions development and roadmaps guiding IT transformations to cloud.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals in customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and AI solutions with AWS solutions architects; migrate apps and services to AWS.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solutions Architects.
• Educate customers on AWS value; participate in architectural discussions.
• Coach architects in delivering training sessions to transfer deep technical skills.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide creation of whitepapers, data sheets, and customer-facing guidance.
• Build relationships with decision makers to enable AI and Cloud advocacy.
• Act as liaison between customers, service engineering, and support.
• Lead a team of Solution Architects and drive strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
