Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an AI Architect to be the senior technical owner for a named portfolio of customers, acting as the CTO of your book of business and shaping each customer's AI strategy from discovery through deployment and measurable business impact.

You will own the technical account plan across OpenAI's APIs and agentic solutions, translate business priorities into use cases and an adoption roadmap, and collaborate with specialists to deliver value and achieve production readiness.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or engineering.
• Experience guiding enterprise organizations from technical evaluation to production adoption and measurable impact.
• Ability to communicate with senior technical and business leaders and with hands-on engineers.
• Strong foundations in software and cloud architecture, APIs, data integration, security and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and long-term relationship owner for a named portfolio of customers.
• Own the technical account plan, milestones, adoption priorities, and expansion opportunities.
• Lead discovery with executives to identify and prioritize use cases with business value.
• Develop clear Applied AI Architectures spanning models, data, integration, security and deployment.
