Job summary

Decagon is seeking an Agent Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end AI agent builds for strategic customers. You will own architecture, design agent logic, and implement robust integrations with customer systems, while ensuring safe, compliant operation and measurable outcomes.

You will work with PMs, engineers, and GTM teams to translate needs into build plans, drive delivery, and establish strong technical relationships with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Native or business-level fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong technical foundation with coding, APIs, and end-to-end integrations.
• Experience communicating with senior technical stakeholders.
• Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and rapid delivery.
• Experience around LLMs and AI agents is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and execution of AI agent builds for enterprise customers.
• Design core agentic logic to ensure quality, reliability, and correct behavior.
• Engineer guardrails and supervisory controls for safe agent performance.
• Integrate with customer systems (data pipelines, CRMs, ticketing) at scale.
• Interface with customers to define success criteria and drive delivery.
• Diagnose failures via root-cause analysis of traces and logs.
• Create evaluation/regression frameworks and document insights.
