Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Account Manager to identify, develop, and close Large Enterprise opportunities. You will manage relationships, present solutions, and forecast revenue while meeting and exceeding quotas.

You will travel to client sites and work with cross-functional teams to align products with customer needs. The role emphasizes building strategic relationships, delivering compelling proposals, and maintaining detailed sales forecasts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry sales experience.
• Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
• Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
• Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
• Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attain additional business, and retain existing revenue.
• Identifies, bids on, negotiates, and closes new sales opportunities to meet and exceed quotas; provides account plans and strategies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the company's entire product suite and may have deeper knowledge on subsets.
• Provides accurate weekly forecast funnel of opportunities to meet quota requirements.
