Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a detail-oriented Surgical Scheduler to coordinate ENT procedures, including head and neck and sleep apnea surgeries. The role partners with providers, authorization teams, and operating room staff to ensure accurate case readiness and scheduling efficiency.

Responsibilities include obtaining authorizations, updating tracking tools, and verifying patient and insurance data. This full onsite DC position requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with surgical scheduling or medical scheduling in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with insurance authorizations and referrals is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and post surgical cases for ENT providers, including head and neck procedures and sleep apnea surgeries.
• Coordinate with Authorization Team to obtain insurance authorizations prior to surgery.
• Gather and verify patient demographic, insurance, and surgical information for scheduling.
• Maintain and update surgical tracking tools and calendars.
• Communicate scheduling details with patients and collaborate with OR staff.
