Job summary

San Joaquin Valley College Inc. is seeking an Enrollment Services Associate to provide timely, accurate information and outstanding service to prospective and enrolled students.

You will schedule interviews, explain programs, outcomes, student services, and financial considerations, and determine enrollment suitability. You will maintain contact through matriculation, collaborate with the Student Finance team, update the SIS with notes, and meet performance metrics while handling high-volume

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of high-volume, fast-paced customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in Enrollment Services/Admissions or non-durable sales is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Superior organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a high volume of outbound telephone calls and interviews with prospective students, providing complete and accurate information regarding educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations while determining the appropriateness of candidates for enrollment.
• Meet or exceed all performance metrics and individual production goals.
• Manage workflows to ensure regular outreach and follow-up with prospective students through to matriculation.
• Update the Student Information System with detailed notes after each contact with prospective and enrolled students.
• Collaborate with the Student Finance team to provide information to help students decide on enrollment and next steps.
