Job summary

Santa Fe College’s One Stop is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to provide cross-functional support for student enrollment processes, including admissions, financial aid, and registration. You will analyze student needs, troubleshoot issues, and guide students through enrollment requirements with confidentiality and professionalism.

The role requires an associate degree with two years' experience in student services, or a four-year combination.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with two years of work experience in student support services or related fields, or a combination of education and work experience equal to four years.
• A criminal background check will be conducted.
• Familiar with SF College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and regulations and experience in higher education and/or a One Stop is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, real-time support and problem resolution to prospective and current students across admissions, financial aid, registration, and student accounts via in-person, phone, email, and chat.
• Analyzes student needs and facilitates appropriate next steps.
• Troubleshoots enrollment-related issues and resolves routine to moderately complex student concerns.
• Assists students with completing and correcting applications (admissions, FAFSA).
• Reviews student records, applications, and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Guides students on financial aid processes, including eligibility, verification, aid acceptance, and disbursement.
• Explains financial aid awards and student account information, researches and resolves routine account discrepancies with other departments.
• Supports student success using degree audit tools, the College Catalog, and advising frameworks for course selection and planning.
• Interprets placement results to recommend initial course placement and enrollment pathways.
• Assists with registration activities, drop/add, withdrawals, and submission of appeals or petitions.
• Advises on residency requirements and admissions documentation; reviews materials for completeness.
• Processes and manages student records and requests, including transcript requests and documentation.
• Collaborates with Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounts to coordinate resolutions.
• Maintains the enrollment services knowledge base and contributes to improvements.
• May assist in organizing meetings and events, providing student support at outreach activities.
