Job summary

Coastal Alabama Community College seeks a dedicated Enrollment Specialist – Enrollment to recruit and market our college across the service area. The role travels weekly to area schools and events, meeting with high school and non-traditional students as well as community leaders to serve as the liaison between the college and the community.

Primary duties include assisting admissions applications, presenting to groups, planning campus tours, and organizing special events.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent recent full-time work experience.
• Effective human relations skills: professionalism, enthusiasm and commitment to education.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required (travel and registration).

Responsibilities

• Represent and promote Coastal Alabama Community College during day, evening or weekends.
• Assist potential students with Admissions applications and processing.
• Conduct presentations in area schools, businesses and at community events.
• Schedule and host college tours for potential students.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and agencies.
• Plan and execute Freshman Orientation – Dive into College.
