Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriately related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in recruitment, admissions, enrollment services, student affairs, or a closely related field.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized guidance from inquiry through enrollment and connect students with campus resources.
• Coordinate recruitment activities via phone, email, text, virtual platforms, information sessions, and appointments.
• Represent CT State Housatonic at recruitment events and college fairs.
• Develop relationships with high schools, adult education programs, workforce organizations, employers, and community partners.
• Coordinate campus visits, tours, and recruitment activities for prospective students and families.
• Collaborate with Admissions, faculty, and enrollment services to support events and student engagement programs.
• Use enrollment data to assess outreach effectiveness and improve strategic enrollment objectives.
• Support recruitment for diverse student groups, including dual enrollment, traditional, adult learners, veterans, international students.
• Adhere to recruitment schedules and professional standards while representing CT State Housatonic positively.
