Job summary
Merck in Durham, NC, is seeking a Transformation and Business Support Lead to drive a portfolio of strategic facility transformation projects and oversee essential business-support activities.
You will manage a team of engineers and scientists, align Quality, Operations, Technology Operations, Maintenance, and Digital Manufacturing behind an integrated execution plan, and lead cross-functional teams to meet milestones while ensuring safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with supervisory responsibility across manufacturing/ops, quality, or site engineering services.
- Proven pharma/biotech facility engineering and process-change project track record.
Responsibilities
- Lead an organization and a portfolio of strategic facility transformation projects.
- Oversee a business-support team focusing on quality systems, change management, and process optimization.
- Manage and develop a team of engineers and scientists supporting change controls and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
