Job summary

MSD is seeking a Transformation and Business Support Lead for the Vaccine Manufacturing Facility in Durham, NC. The role leads a portfolio of strategic projects aligned to facility transformation milestones and oversees a business support team to strengthen operational processes, quality systems, and documentation.

You will guide strategy development, manage engineers and scientists, and collaborate across Quality, Operations, Technology, and Maintenance to deliver end-to-end execution.

Qualifications

• Required. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with strong preference for Manufacturing Operations, Technical Operations, Quality Operations, or Site Engineering Services with supervisory responsibility.
• Experience in pharma/biotech facility engineering/process changes controls & projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead an organization and portfolio of projects to ensure successful execution of strategic facility transformation milestones.
• Oversee a business support team focused on strengthening core operational processes, including quality systems and change management.
• Manage a team of engineers and scientists supporting change controls and other strategic initiatives across functions.
• Provide end‑to‑end technical support through project lifecycle including QA risk management, SOP development, and master batch records.
