Merck is seeking a Sr. Specialist in Global Engineering Solutions to design, analyze, and improve production facilities using MPS principles. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective designs and lead Lean improvement initiatives.

You will mentor project teams, run workshops, and drive continuous improvement across various sites, with travel roughly 25% depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing, engineering, or consulting experience.
• Hands-on Lean tools experience: standardized work, problem solving, value stream mapping, mistake proofing, 5S-Visual Factory.

Responsabilités

• Design, analyze, and improve process and facility designs to deliver simple, reliable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions.
• Support FEL 0 through FEL3 and Start-up Readiness as a key member of GES teams.
• Lead and coach Lean initiatives and transfer Lean skills across teams; conduct workshops.
• Improve GES business processes and systems enabling project design and execution.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure designs meet high standards of operability.
• Mentor teams to communicate effectively and manage risk to on-time delivery.
