Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to provide technical engineering oversight and design team management for assigned projects. This role includes mentoring staff, managing resources, and ensuring deliverables meet project objectives.

Required: Bachelor’s in engineering, a US PE license, and 8+ years of engineering experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of Engineering Experience.
• Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required for this position.
• Field experience is strongly recommended.
• Education and experience can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop a design fee for the work requested.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work.
• Communicate with Project Manager (PM) or Executive regarding effort required to accomplish expected deliverables.
• Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the project PM.
• Resolve complex problems (conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of materials, coordination).
• Supervise project coordination with city, state, and county officials and other agencies.
• Attend project design meetings with the Design Build Team.
• Perform Value Engineering studies.
• Act as Engineer of Record for projects within responsibility.
