Job summary

Rosendin Electric seeks an Engineering Team Lead to provide technical engineering oversight and design team management for projects. This leadership role blends project management with hands-on engineering, budgeting, and mentoring staff.

The role requires overseeing engineers and designers, coordinating with Project Managers and Owners, performing value engineering, and ensuring compliance with building and local codes. Travel up to 25% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
• Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop a design fee for the work.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff assigned to team or project.
• Communicate with Project Manager or Executive regarding effort for deliverables and submittals.
• Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the Project PM.
• Oversee regulatory coordination with city, state, and county officials.
