Job summary

Quanta-Services’ QISG unit seeks an Engineering Project Manager for Transmission Line projects. You will oversee engineering scope, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure safe, reliable delivery of high-voltage infrastructure across the project lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, manage external providers, and drive innovation while maintaining budget and schedule adherence in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the electric utility industry performing engineering duties or management for high voltage projects.
• ABET-accredited B.S. or graduate engineering degree.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on time/budget.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operations leadership on technical goals.
• Serve as technical lead through conceptual to closeout phases; visit sites as needed.
• Manage performance of engineering service providers; review KPIs with senior leaders.
• Develop engineering controls and QA standards to ensure quality.
• Ensure internal documentation and standards meet requirements.
• Plan staffing and resources for project growth.
• Lead training for engineering staff and mentorship.
• Support business development via client meetings and proposals.
• Drive innovations in engineering processes and technologies.
• Promote safety, quality, and integrity within the department.
