Job summary

QISG, part of Quanta Services, seeks an Engineering Project Manager for Transmission Line projects to lead design, construction, and upgrades of high-voltage infrastructure. You will coordinate with engineering and field teams, oversee technical work, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 10+ years in electric utility engineering, a BS/ABET-accredited degree, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the electric utility industry performing engineering related duties and/or management for high voltage electrical projects.
• Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• P.E. license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategically collaborate with engineering and operational leadership on technical goals and oversee engineering work.
• Act as a technical lead during conceptual, preliminary engineering, detailed design, construction, and closeout phases of the project lifecycle.
• Manage the performance of engineering service providers and develop KPIs with senior leadership.
• Develop and implement engineering controls and quality assurance standards.
• Lead training strategy for engineering staff and support business development efforts.
