Job summary

Voltus is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for our Engineering and Product teams. You will partner with engineering leadership to define hiring needs, build sourcing pipelines from scratch, and run a fast, rigorous interview process.

This builder's role emphasizes outbound sourcing, collaboration with leadership, and a strong focus on technical fit across backend engineering and product positions. Voltus is remote with regulatory and travel considerations for US/Canada.

Qualifications

• Proven full-cycle technical recruiting experience, agency or high-growth environment.
• Strong outbound sourcing skill; build pipelines without relying on inbound volume.
• Experience sourcing through GitHub, Stack Overflow, or developer communities.
• Direct, assertive communication; push back on unclear specs.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and defining what great looks like for talent.
• Experience recruiting for engineering and product roles is a plus.
• No fixed background required in energy/cleantech; focus on technical fit.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and product roles with autonomy.
• Build outbound sourcing strategies to proactively source top talent.
• Partner with hiring managers to create clear, well-scoped job specs.
• Move quickly to maintain momentum once candidates are identified.
• Expand candidate diversity through targeted networks, etc.
• Assess candidates for role-relevant thinking and problem-solving.
• Advise leadership on hiring strategy, not just process executor.
• Coordinate with engineering leadership to meet hiring needs.
