Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire top-tier engineering talent for our software and hardware teams. You will partner with hiring managers to craft effective hiring strategies and build strong pipelines to support our ambitious product roadmap.

You will conduct technical screenings, manage the full recruitment lifecycle, and help ensure our culture and values are reflected in every candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, or engineering.
• 5+ years of deep experience in technical recruiting for software, mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to source and engage top-tier engineering talent through various channels.
• Strong understanding of engineering disciplines such as software and vehicle systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define needs and recruit software, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates across software and hardware disciplines.
• Build robust talent pipelines with sourcing team and diverse candidate pools.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle with a compliant process.
• Conduct technical screenings to assess engineering expertise.
• Align with People Team to reflect Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ culture.
• Provide data-driven insights to refine hiring strategies.
• Represent the company at industry events and career fairs.
