Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to provide leadership and technical oversight for engineering services at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. The role guides multidisciplinary teams, ensures technical excellence, and delivers high-quality, cost-effective solutions in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing design and construction tasks, maintaining QA standards, mentoring staff, and coordinating with NASA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or Registered Architect preferred.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience with supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Experience with aerospace, federal, or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, processes, and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of tasks for buildings, support structures, and sites.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and QA requirements.
• Collaborate with Program Manager to align deliverables with client objectives.
• Monitor performance, schedule, and cost metrics to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
• Represent the team in meetings with NASA stakeholders and project partners.
