Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering services for the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence, and deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions for NASA projects. You will mentor staff, manage schedules and costs, and collaborate with program leadership to align deliverables with objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• PE registration or Registered Architect preferred.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience including supervisory/management responsibilities.
• Experience in aerospace, federal, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, project execution, and quality management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver complex projects.
• Understanding of engineering design, procurement, and construction support.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil).
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of engineering tasks for buildings, support structures, and sites.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to align deliverables with client objectives.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and staff development.
• Monitor performance, schedule, and cost metrics for efficient execution.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.
• Represent the team in meetings with NASA stakeholders and partners.
• Coordinate between engineering, construction supervision, GIS, and inspection teams.
