Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to provide leadership and technical oversight for engineering services at the Marshall Space Flight Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect preferred.
• 8-10 years of relevant engineering experience including supervisory/management.
• Experience in aerospace, federal, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, project execution procedures, and quality management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver complex projects.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines.
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of engineering tasks for buildings and structures.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and development for staff.
• Coordinate with Program Manager to align deliverables with objectives.
• Monitor performance, schedule, and cost metrics for project execution.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.
• Represent the engineering team in meetings with NASA stakeholders and partners.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and QA requirements.
