Job summary

NxEdge seeks a driven Engineering Manager to lead site engineering resources at our Boise facility. You will drive manufacturability assessments, oversee new process development, and manage the creation and maintenance of SOPs aligned with safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will supervise Manufacturing Engineers, R&D Engineers, and Technicians, champion process improvements, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and ECR/ECO workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering and/or Quality Management experience, preferably in Semiconductor.
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC Machining, Robotics, and related manufacturing methods.
• Strong understanding of engineering practices, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to negotiate and solve problems.
• Experience supervising staff and driving ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturability of new customer designs and resolve issues with customers.
• Oversee execution of deliverables for new process development.
• Lead DOE and application testing to meet strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base for data sharing across sites.
• Review and approve process work instructions and documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure standards and quality.
