Job summary

NxEdge McGregor facility in Boise, Idaho seeks an Operations Manager to lead precision machining and Small Hole Drilling while delivering safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will drive flow, develop teams, and partner with Engineering and Quality to scale production for current and future demand.

Bring 10–15 years in manufacturing, strong Lean/5S expertise, ERP experience (Epicor), and a track record of producing results in high-precision environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10–15 years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Experience in precision machining, CNC manufacturing, and semiconductor components preferred.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing, 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement.
• ERP systems experience, especially Epicor; excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for the McGregor facility, including CNC machining, scheduling, and Small Hole Drilling production.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity, and employee engagement goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
• Develop and coach a high-performing operations team and support staffing plans.
• Partner with Engineering on NPI, routings, process docs, and ramping from qualification to production.
